Lovettsville Farmers Market Opens June 3

Attention all Lovettsville Cooperative Market Members!

The Lovettsville Farmers Market opens on June 3...and you can earn discounts

on your Farmers Market purchases by volunteering at the Market!

We're looking for a dozen (or more!) fresh-and-local food enthusiasts to help us bring a great selection of locally produced products to our community on Sundays from 10 AM to 1 PM, from early June through late September.

The Market will be in Dr. Carroll Johnston's parking lot on Light Street,

behind Market Table Bistro in downtown Lovettsville!

We will be a hybrid retail market, with the Lovettsville Co-op serving as wholesale buyer from selected local farms and selling these farm products to the Lovettsville community and surrounding area.  We need people to help out twice a month as sales staff (from 10am to 1pm) or as grounds crew for setup and breakdown of the market (from 9-10am and/or 1-2pm).

We will train you, give you a great-looking green apron to wear and reward you with wonderful fruits, veggies and other food items at discounted prices.  Ideally we'd love our team members to work every other weekend, but we'll work with you to develop a schedule that works for you.
