During the summer, the Co-op has operated a farm market in Lovettsville on Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Lovettsville Volunteer Fire & Rescue station, future site of our store. We also have hosted community groups at the market who make our market a dynamic gathering place, in addition to being a terrific location to shop and support our local farmers and producers.
2019 MARKET DETAILS
In response to many requests, we are happy to announce that the market is opened longer this year from Saturday, June 1, through Saturday, September 14. The hiring of our new Market Manager, Annie Teeter, has made this possible.
We are stocked full of local, fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and other products such as eggs, honey, baked goods, and locally-roasted coffees.
As usual, we are located in the bay area of the Lovettsville Volunteer Fire and Rescue facility on Route 287 - the Berlin Turnpike. Since the LVFR was annexed into the Town of Lovettsville, we are officially in the town now.
Plan your weekly shopping to include your locally-grown, community-owned market every Saturday while we’re open.
And, check out the grocery totes sporting our new logo. If you spend $50 or more at the market, or become a member on the spot, you can carry your groceries home in one.
