BRICKS AND MORTAR STORE PLANS……
We expect to have the contract signed Spring 2019.
Check out our convenient site.
The professionally operated Co-op grocery store will be located on Berlin Turnpike (Route 287) in the building that the Lovettsville Volunteer Fire and Rescue will vacate when they move to their new location (targeted for 2021).
NOT A MEMBER-OWNER YET?
Why is your membership important?
LET US COUNT THE WAYS…..
*Becoming a member makes a member-owned grocery store possible. Strength in numbers helps as we move toward our Capital Campaign when additional investment opportunities are offered
*The Co-Op will source products from local growers and producers, whenever possible, helping support our rural economy
*The Co-Op will be a full-service grocery store, offering a selection of conventional items, in addition to organic products, to meet the needs of our entire community
*Members can participate in Co-Op workshops, educational programs & events at discounts
*Members are shareholders, we are member-owners
*We can vote each year in Board elections
*Market studies show that our community wants and needs a grocery store. Our demographics do not support a big chain grocery store, but we can have a fabulous locally grown, community owned cooperative market!
